The 2026 Boundary Bell Championship was held at Lenzie Golf Club on Sunday 30st August.
The teams from 2026 competing were Glasgow Golf Club representing the Donald Cameron League and Bonnyton Golf Club
representing the Brand Putter League. Congratulations to Bonnyton in winning the event.
In spite of significant pre match rainfall threatening to close the course we were gifted with near blue skies starting to clear to reveal a great day over a very well set up course.
First up were Glasgow, keen to win The Boundary Bell for the 5th time, and Bonnyton determined to overturn the narrow defeat in 2021 against Glasgow to win for the first time, and they did that convincingly by not letting Glasgow get a foothold in the match at all by winning 6-2.
All retired to the clubhouse for the prize giving and tucked into a lovely dinner along with chat of successes and might have beens.
Big thank you to the Greens Staff in dealing with the challenging conditions to set up the course and to the catering and clubhouse staff for the superb service. Also thanks to Lenzie Golf Club for hosting the Boundary Bells event.
